The Cycle of Frustration

Low back pain is rarely just physical; it's a mental and emotional drain. Many patients find themselves in a loop of temporary relief followed by recurring flare-ups. Traditional care often focuses on targeting specific structures and chasing symptoms, leaving you dependent on appointments instead of being empowered by knowledge of self managment. This diagnostic uncertainty creates a weight that keeps you from the activities you love.

Recurrent Flare-ups: The frustration of feeling better for a few months only for the pain to return.

Over-Reliance on Passivity: Traditional models that prioritize "fixing" faulty structures and  passive treatments over active rehabilitation and movement.

Fear of Movement: Developed kinesiophobia where you stop doing what you love because you're afraid of 'damaging' your spine.

The Evidence-Based Path

A simple, structured approach to managing low back pain through modern science and active rehabilitation.

Active rehab movement
Why This Approach Works:
  • Contemporary Pain Science: Understand why it hurts and how to turn down the alarm.
  • Giving permission to move:  Restore strength and confidence.
  • Self-Management: Practical tools to find relief and stay active without being dependent on someone to fix you.

FAQ

Is this course a good fit for me if I have chronic pain?

Yes. This approach integrates contemporary pain science specifically designed to help redefine and manage chronic musculoskeletal issues by empowering you with active rehabilitation strategies.

Who will NOT benefit from this course?

-Unwillingness to accept that what they've been told in the past may not be correct

-Those looking for a quick fix

-People unwilling to budge from what their MRI report shows

-Those who can't grasp that behaviors/emotions/stress may be playing a role in their pain

-People who want a structural diagnosis and want to continue to see a chiropractor, PT, or acupuncturist in perpetuity

What if the course approach doesn’t work for my specific pain?

I never guarantee a pain free life or a life free of flare ups. That's unfair and not realistic.

I am confident you will learn useful information. This course will teach you evidence-based principles and help you navigate and reframe your pain. If chronic pain persists or worsens, you are encouraged to discuss with your primary doctor a pain management specialist for additional workup. If would like additional consultation with me, I am available in person (Tarrytown, NY) or virtualy. Email me at drruck@ruckspineandsports.com.

How long will I have access to the modules?

Once enrolled, you get lifetime access to the course content, including any future updates to the curriculum as new research emerges. I am always looking to improve/add upon the course information.
